This is a beautiful place which annually visited by more than 20 million people from around the world; the Mosque of Imam Reza. The mosque is known as number three largest mosques in the World.

Imam Reza Mosque is located in the village Sanabad, where Imam Reza died in 818 AD Imam Reza is a direct descendant of Prophet Muhammad. Also Imam Reza was the eighth Shiite Imam who was born in Medina in 765 AD.

He is known as a highly educated and the holy. So that at the age of 51 he was in sight by the Abbasid Caliph Mamun to be a substitute for him became the next caliph and his country in marriage with Imam Reza. After staying for a while in Sanabad, Imam Reza went to Baghdad to retake the city from his political opponents, but during the trip Reza fell ill and died.
