Montpellier, France Residents coveted City

The town is famous for its cultural arts festival has many historic relics. Because the city is big enough, my suggestion is if you want to know more closely the history and interesting sights to visit can be in three ways. Obviously the first thing to do is visit the tourist information center is the town square, place de la Comedie. Free maps and guide books can be found here. If you want to save time, at the tourist information office provides tourist visits with the guide. It is a full agenda, during two hours on foot. During the visit we will be invited to visit various historic sites and information about the 1000-year history of Montpellier itself. Fee charged is 7 euros.

For those who do not want sore feet, can do a small tour with a train tour that takes us around the old city of Montpellier, of course, have to spend money, which is 6 euros for adults and 3 euros for children under 12 years old.

Another way which I think is very sympathetic, by bicycle. Montpellier provides bike rentals, for tourists the best way to rent a bicycle through the tourist information office. Tour the old city of Montpellier with a bike is fun, we do this is often a family; the old town of Montpellier did not allow vehicles into the city.
